Audio-Video Studio (Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology)

In the recent years, the audio-video studio has undergone several changes. Originally, the studio provided services for various faculty departments, such as providing rooms and equipment. Nowadays, it also offers extradepartmental lessons as it teaches faculty students from any departments the basics of working with audio-visual equipment. Apart from offering classes for all faculty students, the studio is also an intra-departmental service lab which helps with practical problems of the students’ audio-visual projects. The studio provides tutorials in video, sound, and interactive projects processing and represents the faculty each year by showing a program of videos and animations which have been created at the faculty during the fifteen years of its existence. Thanks to various grant projects it has been possible to establish a fully-equipped professional recording studio; at the moment, the video studio equipment is undergoing modernization.
